phone has not functioned for over 2 hours, will not shut down, etc

Phone has been in "think" mode for 2+ hours (Spinning on completely black screen)  Tried hard shutdown, but cannot even do that)

BBBETTY, we always want you to have a working device. Are you still having issues with your phone? What kind of phone do you have? Is the device responding at all?
