Can't update software

I have an iPhone 7 and says error when I try to update my software but I can't do anything else like make a call either

Thank you for reaching out to us. We understand the importance of having a working device. Let's look into getting this fixed. Are you currently connected to Wi-Fi? Have you tried to power the device off and then back on?

I would try to see if you can update the device via iTunes.

The software updates while connected to the Verizon Wireless network, you've indicated that you're having issues establishing even a basic voice connection, we would like to look into your reception concern as that may be the cause of the update not completing. Are you normally able to complete calls and establish a data connection in your current area? Are you in the US right now?
