I noticed that my Iphone 7 started losing WIFI over the weekend and whenever that happened I was not given a choice to turn it on from Settings. I tried numerous solutions but the only fix was to keep doing hard resets (Sleep-Wake + lower Volume buttons) until WIFI got turned on. The problem kept getting worse and more frequent and by Monday it took from 6-10 resets to re-enable WIFI. However the phone wouldn't stay connected for long before WIFI would disappear again. Then it dawned on me that on Saturday I had turned on WIFI calling for the first time. Once I turned that off the problem went away. WIFI calling would have been nice since I live in a poor cellular area but I have great WIFI. Is anyone else still having this issue? I thought that it had been fixed and I have the latest IOS.

We certainly want to see you be able to stay connected on the right network when needed as I know the importance. What is the current selection in Settings>Cellular>Cellular Data Options>Enable LTE? Have you installed any other new apps when this began? Have you tested it again with WiFi Calling back on to duplicate the issue once more?

Thanks for responding. My Enable LTE shows "Voice and Data". I haven't added any new apps since but I did add a Bluetooth device afterward.

Happy to help! When turning WiFi Calling back on have you tested the stability on the same WiFi connection as before as well as other WiFi networks?

I haven't turned it back on yet because I didn't want a repeat of yesterday and I'm away from a Wi-Fi connection today here at work. The problem initially started when I was having dinner at TGIF, all other times I was home.

This problem is worse than I thought and I don't think that it has anything to do with Wi-Fi calling. Even with the feature disabled I noticed that my phone randomly reboots and it doesn't always return with Wi-Fi activated. The only thing I can do is continually reboot until Wi-Fi returns. The phone may stay up for a few hours or just a few minutes before rebooting and the cycle repeats itself. I've reset everything and restored yet the problem is still there. I just may have a Iphone lemon here.

We want to ensure this problem is resolved. When you activate Wi-Fi Calling and then try to connect Wi-Fi afterwards, are you able to do it this way or is the Wi-Fi option disabled or grayed out?

I never physically activate or deactivate Wi-Fi, the phone does. I have to keep rebooting until it does activate. When Wi-Fi does come back I can use it but it will eventually reboot and drop Wi-Fi when I'm not using it.
