How do I use my deactivated 7 plus as an ipod?

Please help. I love listening to my music and hate that I cannot talk and have my music play in my Bose speaker at simultaneously. How can I turn my old 7 plus into an ipod? And can it play only the music that was on there when it was deactivated or can it be updated to have all of my current music as well? I would appreciate help. Thank you.

Scarbreaux,

I enjoy the sound of music myself in the background. If you have an older iPhone 7 Plus, you can simply turn it on and pair it to your bluetooth speaker to play and music you have.

I hope that clarifies for you.
