Incoming calls are not being picked up by voicemail if I don't answer. How do I fix this?

The phone will just ring, and ring, and ring. My voicemail will not kick in.

When did this problem begin? Have you been able to receive voicemail messages on your iPhone 7 in the past?

Try calling *86 and verify that you're able to reach your own VM that way. If not, then you may need to call in to Verizon tech support. If that works fine, make sure your VM isn't full (if you have a lot of saved messages, try deleting some messages out of it, then restart your phone), or try dialing *73 to disable any call-forwarding that might have somehow been activated for if you don't answer, then have someone try calling you again.
