I've had my iPhone 7 for about 3 months. All was fine...until today. I keep receiving "No SIM card installed" every so often. I've tried all existing troubleshooting steps:
- airplane mode on/off
- shutdown/restart
- reseat SIM card
- check for carrier and OS updates
It's the oddest thing - it works for a while, then it doesn't for a while. Cycle keeps repeating. I've also noticed that my cellular connection no longer connects to LTE (display just says "Verizon" instead of "LTE"). Related to SIM card? Maybe.

Cubs8489, I know that I would be just as concerned with my phone losing its reception or switching to a No SIM card installed error message. We are here to help out. The steps you have performed are really good steps. I recommend stopping by your nearest direct VZW store for a new SIM card, as replacing the SIM would be the next best step to take. Use this link to find the closest store to you:

Please check mark the Do Not Include Authorized Dealers box.
Keep us posted with the results after the utilizing the new SIM card.
