Wow GILSAM5 that is an intriguing situation. I can understand the dilemma of having this happen. I know how important it is to be able to use your phone with and without headsets. I would like to ask if you can try the following steps to see if this will remedy the issue. Go to settings> general> reset>Reset network settings.
