Verizon loses customer by charing for "free" phone

Verizon says the offer "ended 11/29". I sent them the email screen shot of the offer sent to me on 12/15. I even showed the header info proving the email offer of free iPhone left Verizon email servers on 12/15/20. But they refuse. I am paying the device charge and porting to another carrier. Oh, and I even have a text today from the sales agent (saved his contact info) who says that the phone should be free...
