this time the cord didnt just fray but the contacts dont seem to connect inside the phone. I had to order a new one that takes days. Wondering tho if there's a way to pickup my voicemail messages somehow by calling the number from another number? I hate to be without calls for days. Anyone know?

walgreens/cvs/your local drugstore probably has one.
grab where the actual usb connects to the car/charger/phone, instead up pulling on the cable.
i personally find i-phone connectors far more robust than any androids i've had, dating back to droid x.
