I ordered in store on 9/16 and was given a delivery date of 10/19. Yesterday *611 started saying my order is pending shipment and under my orders online it was showing pre-order number XXXXXXXXXX is processing. An hour ago it was still showing the same thing online but I just checked and now its no longer saying pre-order number XXXXXXXXXX it is just saying order number 13910 with no deliver by date. Is that a good sign of possibly shipping sooner than 10/19? Anyone else have any luck with these?

I ordered the same phone same size on 9/13 and my order says processing with an expected ship date of 10/12.  It's said that the whole time and has never changed.  I've called customer service once and they basically laughed and said....this is Apple...this is what you have to deal with.  My instincts tell me Apple is intentionally holding back inventory just to increase demand.  None of this makes sense especially the fact that they appeared to have zero phones in inventory.  I so regret going back to Apple.

I canceled my Verizon order and picked one up at the Apple store near me yesterday.  I was finding 256GB Rose Gold pluses all over my area.  You may want to check.

I did the same thing on Monday. I had a black 256 on order but saw that there was finally stock at both Apple stores in my area. I wasn't trading but just buying at full price. I canceled my order and now I'm enjoying this great phone.
