My wife has an iPhone 8+, I got her old iPhone 7. We made both of them hotspots. PROBLEM: when looking at the available networks, it only shows iPhone. How do i change the name of the network to iPhone7 and iPhone8+ ?
Thanks to the folks who know their stuff, I'll have my answer in no time!

Good morning, Davidoflouisiana71037. I hope your morning is going well. I would love to help on how to tell the difference of the networks. Each phone is named and can be changed when your hotspot is on. You can follow the directions below.
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Then select General.
- Next, tap About.
- Then select Name.
- Next, tap the “x” in the text field to delete the current hotspot name.
- Finally, use the on-screen keyboard on your iPhone to enter a new hotspot name.
Does this help?

Have you posted this query on an iPhone Forum? I expect there is one for iPhone users and others have had the same question. I also assume you made the hotspots thru the phones' settings.
