Verizon won’t help me. Can someone else?

I am hoping one of you can be helpful. Verizon is sure not. I was unable to activate my iPhone Pro 12. When I entered my device ID, Verizon gave me a message that I needed a new plan. I was told to switch to one of the “Play/Do/Get More” plans.  Which I did. And still no activation. And I’m still told I need a new plan. And after multiple hours, I still can’t get a human being to interact with me via chat, text or by phone. Also, hours only until 7 PM on the East Coast? That is laughable. And as soon as I can get a callback tomorrow is 5:30 PM. So I’m looking at 24 hours with no working phone. Any ideas?
