Activate new iPhone SE

Trying to activate a new (2020) iPhone SE to replace an old iPhone SE on an existing line. Using the online process, I reach the point of receiving the Online Authorization Code. I have  entered codes multiple times and get the same message - Experienced problem while connecting you to the server... Can’t progress beyond this point.

What do I need to do now?
