Today I was informed, by a Verizon Retailer, that my first generation SE would no longer work after January 1, 2022. Something about first SE is 3G and after 1/1/22 Verizon only offering 4G and 5G.
Google inquiry sort of seems to contradict that allegation.
Today also, Tanya @ Verizon Tech Support first stated that my phone would not work after January 2nd or 3rd- then checked further and reported that with IOS Version 15.2, which I am running, my phone would work . Tanya further committed to confirm this in writing immediately. This did not happen.
I have trouble believing that Verizon would let this happen w/o notifying me- after being a subscriber for 25+ years.
What is the truth of the matter?
