Ok that didn't work. As I move throughout the house my voice cuts in and
out and gets garbled. The person on the other end can't make out what I'm
saying at all.

Not sure if that model has Verizon Wi-Fi calling? Hopefully someone will chime in with that info.

Starting to look like Apple has released yet another phone with poor reception. You would think they would test this out before releasing.
Bingram, looks like your phone is in fact Verizon Wi-Fi ready with the 9.03 OS installed. Have you downloaded it yet?

Our reception on an iPhone 4s was fine. There are always challenges in some
parts of house but Se is worse.

Sounds like you need to may need to try a different phone before the 14 day return policy expires. You aren't the first I've seen post issues with the 5se. I thought Apple would have prioritized reception issues after they released a model with a similar problem a few years ago.

Thanks but won't it suck up bandwidth? I am bandwidth challenged because FiOS isn't available in my area, so I am regulated to DSL.
In fact, I bought a network extender from Verizon so I could get signal in basement but had to give up because it wasn't reliable. I think because of DSL router.
Thanks for continuing to try to help me.
