I ordered my Silver 256GB on 10/27 a little after 5:00 a.m. with a "deliver by" date of 12/1. However, it shipped way earlier than I ever expected with an actual ship date of 11/7, with next day delivery on 11/8.
Thing was, we were out of town the entire week so Verizon Wireless arranged with UPS for me to pick up within 5 business days at their location. Got back from our trip yesterday and I picked it up this evening.
It's all set up and sitting on its wireless charger cradle right now looking pretty.
So excited! Local apple store has stock. I was nervous but canceled the Verizon order and ordered from Apple, picking up today. Keep checking the Apple store if you have one in your area.
Congratulations. I got my X November 3rd in the morning but I've been checking the two Apple stores near me out of curiosity. They both have them in stock this morning too. Enjoy!

i login one time a week ago and it said shipped and included a UPS tracking number. Then, the next day it was gone and my status went back to "processing". I failed to write down the UPS tracking number, but I thought "Why should I" since it had already indicated it was shipped.
Please help Verizon, why would there be a "shipped" status with tracking number up for one day and then taken back to processing without the link or tracking number?
Update: My Silver 256, ordered late evening 10/27 with EDD 12/1, was charged to my credit card / shipped on 11/16. Unfortunately, delivery has been delayed until 11/21 in spite of being two day shipping. Of course, I leave Monday night for a ten day trip . . . so it looks like I will not have my X in time.
Same boat!!! Hopefully you will get it tomorrow. I just checked my tracking and it is in my state(CT) , which is not that big. Delivery says Tuesday, but don’t understand why it’s not delivered tomorrow
