How do I get the $300 trade-in promo for iPhone X (trading in an iPhone 6S) if I accidentally bought the phone full-price on launch day?
The store person told me I was [removed] so here I am hoping someone else had better luck. Really bummed that they made it so difficult to do a trade-in; am thinking about returning it for Black Friday discounts elsewhere.

You could probably sell the iPhone 6s for more money than what you get for the trade in. The promotion also likely spreads the trade in credits over 24 months. Do you want to wait 2 years to get the full credit?
