Discounts for iphone XR

just got a new XR from a aVerizon store and he told me my bill would be $48 rathern than $60 due to the discount for federal retirees.  However, I can't find any discounts.  I started a CHAT but I guess they are not working today.  Any help.  Thanks

Once applied, discounts can take 2-3 billing cycles to appear on the bill.

I can understand how important it is to get your discount applied. Tikibar1 is correct, it can take up to 2-3 bill cycles to be added. Did you complete the online request to have it added? This can be done here: http://spr.ly/6608EmJ3A
