Inappropriate messaging from Verizon wireless employee

I recently used the chat function online to discuss my bill with a Verizon employee. He was extremely rude and unhelpful. So after the chat I gave him a bad survey. I then received a text message from the Verizon employee that was not authorized by me, he  was telling me that he shouldn't of got a bad survey and being rude and snappy on my text message. Telling me I was the problem. So I got scared and called Verizon to tell them. They said they handled it but now when I call back to check on it, they have no messages in their computer of this. I went back to my text message and the message is gone. I believe Verizon deleted my message out of my phone, cause I kept that message for a reason. Very very disturbing. They also have been taking 45 minutes to get on the phone when calling in. Very poor customer service since the past year. This company is going downhill, including their service. It has been very slow.
I was promised a trade in value for my phone along with a promotion now all of a sudden my credit disappears and they once again have no information on it. I am so disturbed by Verizon and I plan to pay off my phones and leave this company. Very very disappointed with Verizon.

I was with you right till the end. Disappointed because of wait times CS has no control over -- citing that as going downhill? Reps are already underappreciated with overloaded call volume, this is making you out to be the be rude one.

Texting you about it is crossing the line, no one will deny that. This rep lost any sympathy with that move. But here is some perspective -- I have a friend who takes these types of calls and someone failed her survey for confirming with the customer they are getting credits on their phone. A failed survey from someone who can't read a bill right.

Without knowing what exact the exchange was, I'm not going to side one way or another. But I feel something is missing that's not being said.

Customer Service Rep

We're very sorry to hear that you had a negative encounter with a representative on the live-chat service. We never want to hear that has happened. Please know that if you report a negative experience with one representative to another employee, no other employee will be aware, as this process is designed to guarantee anonymity. We hope you can understand. It isn't possible for an agent to delete messages from your phone, so I can not advise you on what happened to it. We will be very happy to assist you with any questions you may have about trading in your device. Have you recently upgraded your phone? Is there a promotion you were taking part in, or is this simply a regular trade-in on our site?  EricW_VZW
