So I bought the Xr yesterday and I got added to my brothers plan , the lady asked if I wanted to keep my number ( previous phone was a 6s with straight talk) and I said yeah so I have my number and everything that I need , I get normal text and calls but when it comes to Reciving codes for logging in like Facebook and etc it won't send the sms. I need what's app for my job because we use a group chat , can someone please help me !!

Sounds like the port process isn't fully complete. Call customer service and ask them to check on the status of the port.
