My daughter recently moved to Germany and has a phone plan over there.   I have an International plan on my phone but she isn’t receiving any messages from me.  Any ideas or suggestions?

How does the Whatsapp app get around the issue?  Is the issue the local service in Germany doesn't accept messages from Verizon?

...Just another VZW customer...trying to offer some assistance...

We understand the importance of staying connected. We are here to help. When you are messaging a Germany number, you need to enter the number as follows: Enter 011 then 49 then international mobile number. Can you confirm that you are entering this sequence before messaging?
