It was Mother's Day on May 12, 2019. I saw a promotion online for BUY ONE GET ONE free iPhone XR. I jumped on the phone and I told the representative that I want to get the BOGO promotion. They told me that all I had to do is pay for 2 phones in the payments for 2 years, but after 2 months I will get 1 of the bills waived every month. I received my 2 phones and after 2 months, but both phones were billed month after month. I've called to complain, but the supervisor told me that there is nothing they cannot do because I did not qualify for their promotion. The timing was correct, but I had to add a new line. They will not honor the 1 phone free. That is the last time I am calling Verizon to place an order, and I am done with Verizon. DONE.
Our goal is to see you take advantage of the best deals that you're eligible for on our network. Unfortunately, we're unable to waive the requirement of adding a new line of service for the free device deal. We apologize for this inconvenience.
Usually Verizon's BOGO deal requires one new line. I don't think they will waive that. And it usually says it in plain sight. So sorry.
