We have been Verizon customers with 5 lines for over 15 years. Recently, an iPhone 7 on one line stopped working and says No Service. I tried to upgrade the phone but Verizon is only offering a promotion for the iPhone XR if we get a new line. I am extremely upset and disappointed that they wouldn't offer the promotion to a long term loyal customer especially when our current phone isn't working. I now will be exploring options with other carriers that have promotions for new customers since Verizon doesn't seem to appreciate our loyalty over the years.

Our account is a former Alltel one and it's silly entitlement to believe I deserve a free cell phone because of that. A new phone doesn't make a poor network any good.

I already know that and it will take weeks to get the phone repaired and he will not have one to use in the interim because Apple will not provide a temporary phone while the other is being repaired. I was trying to get him a new phone through Verizon instead and deals / discounts are only available for new customers.
