***Announcement: Early next week, we’ll be merging the current Fios and Wireless Communities into the all new Verizon Community! Beginning the evening of Sunday 12/4, both Communities will be placed in read-only mode. You’ll still be able to visit the Communities and browse content, but login will be disabled. On the afternoon of Monday 12/5, all users will be able to log into the new Verizon Community. We expect the new Community to be fully functional the morning of Friday 12/9. Wrong caller ID

My caller ID shows the wrong name, I tried the shared name and was told it could take 72 hours, the tech was supposed to call me to make sure it worked. It did not work & I never got that phone call! Very irritated

Share name ID would work with others receiving calls that are 'share name ID' compatible, ie: Verizon Wireless to Verizon Wireless calls. If you're calling another provider that can't read the share name ID feature, you may need to contact that carrier to have them update the caller ID name associated with your phone number in their specific database
