Politics

I have been a customer for approximately 20 years, and am also a stockholder.  While every individual has a right to their opinion (or at least that's how it used to be), large companies should stay the heck out of politics.

You have customers on both sides of the aisle, and to publicly call out those that had the courage to stand up for what they believed in, is a slap in the face to everyone of your customers who may agree with these patriots.

Why didn't Verizon stand up and speak out this past summer, when cities were being burned, businesses looted and destroyed, and innocent people harassed and attacked?  That would have been much more admirable stance to take.

I may just be one customer, guessing you're going to hear from many more who agree.  I would like to suggest that Verizon assume a neutral position when it comes to political issues, or speak out against all negatively perceived actions equally.
