i have a new #extender #e3200.  Did the set up by connecting to router via ethernet. Solid white light came on.  I disconnected, powered down, moved to the intended location and powered up again. solid green light. Manual says "wifi turned off". It also seems to not work, as the wifi strength in the area remains mediocre, as it was before. Any ideas? I moved it closer to the router, no change.
