I don’t know what’s going on with this Xbox issue, but I would like to post my experience with this
3 weeks ago, sign up for home internet plus, find out I qualify for it a few days after I sign up, no biggie, tile for the gift card appears then disappears
Contact chat support, they tell me that the tile has been disappearing for some but send me a link to redeem it, so I open link it’s the gift card, at this time I didn’t realize I could redeem both the Xbox and GC so I said no I want the Xbox and will wait, they said ok they would send me a promo code, so I get said Xbox promo code, go to plug it in, and it says promo code not applied to item in cart, 2 weeks ago now
Last week, again get support, ask for a callback number because I’m not really a fan of chat support, finally get a call, lady tells me that she will redeem my GC that day for me and would follow up with a phone call a week later about the Xbox issue, that was yesterday and I didn’t receive a phone call
Now I’m very diligent, extremely diligent when I want something, so today I figure up chat support again, talk to someone about said issues, explaining it best I can, and all I get now is a “A representative will order the item for you when it becomes available on our end to order it” they said, it’s out of stock online so they can’t add it, well I literally closed chat, opened my email that linked to me the series x, added it to my cart and could buy it right now with my own cash
So personally, I don’t know what’s going on, I don’t know if Verizon’s intent this entire time was never really to honor this promotion entirely, or maybe they really are having issues, but I’m getting fed up with this along with many other people, if anyone else on the forums is getting a run around please comment on this post because I’m genuinely curious what’s going on since I can’t really get a straight answer myself, I’ve tried for like 3 weeks now, nothing, got my gift card though, but an agent has to do that for me on the phone
