Who I have the same questioned this topic

Hi: I got the new VzW Unlimited Data Plan with my iPhone. I came from AT&T.  When in Canada, what do I do with my roaming setting.  Can I let it go to Rogers Wireless (in my case) when I cross the border?  I know that the first 500MB are without charge.  What happens after that? Is there a charge.
