For example, I can't locate SPB Shell 3D on the market. If I go to this app from dev site by direct link I don't see Install button. I have purchased this app some time back even. Does somebody knows it is true? If yes then it is ridiculous. How dare VZW is to prevent me from using what I have paid for.

Looks like I have figured out what's wrong. Actually nothing is wrong and VZW has nothing to do with it. The market itself blocks apps which are not 2.3.4 ready yet.

It might be more the developer has restricted which phones are compatible. When you look at the SPB Shell 3D on the web version of the Android Market, it clearly states it is for Android 2.1 to 2.3.3.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

I guess it is not just 2.3.4. Actually I don't understand what it is. May be 3D capabilities.
The SPB Shell 3D release history says
Version 1.2.1 (Aug 04, 2011):
Stability improvements
Fix Gallery for Motorola Atrix (2.3.4)
Other fixes
So it is compatible with 2.3.4. On my son's Atrix 2.3.4 I can see this app in the market. But not on my Droid 3. Mystery.

Strange because I used it on 2.3.4 but I restored mine from MyBackup and it seemed to function fine.. SPB will get it updated soon Im sure..
