I just purchased a new IPhone 14 and transferred all my info onto it but then realized that I didn’t reset the factory settings or remove Find my iPhone info from my old phone. I still have the old phone and was wondering if it’s ok to activate it again to do this and then switch it back to the new phone since I won’t get the promotion involved when I bought the new phone if it’s not erased.

Hello, Mooches, and thank you for reaching out for support. I am here and happy to help! You can turn off Find My by navigating: Settings > Your Name > Find My and deleting the device. You can also remotely erase your device from Find My by signing into the Apple account you has attached to the device! Here is a link to help: https://support.apple.com/guide/icloud/erase-a-device-mmfc0ef36f/icloud. You can factory reset the device without having to activate it (unless wanted). Here are steps to help erase all content and settings: Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone, then tap Erase All Content and Settings.
