I have a Verizon iPhone 5s. I have my PUK. I want to unblock the phone but keep using it on my current Verizon plan for a few months. The Verizon website instructions say:
The PIN Unblocking Key (PUK) is utilized to reset a blocked SIM card.
- For Postpaid accounts, you must obtain the PUK via the My Verizon website before proceeding.
- For Prepaid accounts, contact customer service to obtain the PUK before proceeding.
- From the Home screen, navigate: Settings > Phone > SIM PIN.
- Ensure the SIM PIN switch is turned on
(in the green position).
If prompted, enter the 4-digit passcode then tap Done.
- Tap Change PIN.
- Enter the current SIM PIN info then tap Done.
If an invalid PUK is entered too many times, the SIM card is permanently disabled.
- Enter the new SIM PIN then tap Done.
- Re-enter the SIM PIN then tap Done.
IS THE PUK THE SAME AS THE "SIM PIN"? IF SO, IS THE PUK THE "CURRENT SIM PIN" OR THE "NEW SIM PIN"?

What do you mean unlock? Did you put a pin number on your sim card and you forgot it? Are you trying to unlock your phone to use on other carriers?
