I am trying to add my cell phone number to my medical provider's website. They send a verification code, but it never arrives. I've been trying to do this for 3 days. I am a long time Verizon wireless customer. I get other texts and verification codes - no problem. The technical support at the medical provider website says they can see where their system sent the code, but I'm not recieving it. I've tried to add my cell phone number on my iPad, iPhone and laptop. Nothing works. Please help.
What text messaging app are you using? If iMessages, maybe try installing Verizon Message+ to see if that works. Someone still would need to troubleshoot why it is failing.
bellabellacat, I firsthand realize the importance of receiving confirmation and short codes when it comes to registering a number. We'll be glad to help here and get this corrected through Verizon if possible.
If we may ask, who is your medical provider? Are you using the Apple Messages app on your phone or something else?
