I am confused. My upgrade is tomorrow and the Verizon guy told me two weeks ago today is the delivery date for the phone and I could get one then so I took it as Friday the 16th I could walk into the store and get set up with a phone but yesterday a different guy told me no I have to order one.. so I will get it maybe Tuesday. I'm so confused does anyone know if Verizon in Champaign is getting phones in just to sell?!
I talked to Verizon customer support last week and they said (at least at that time) they weren't stocking any of the stores, that you'd have to order it. She said the only way a store would have an iPhone 5 is if someone returned one.
Not sure if that has changed, though.
Depends on the store. I have seen a few around me which had some in stock.
I had to order mine today through Verizon as well. It seems as though the stores will be the last to have these in stock, at least for a while anyhow.
