email not appearing in outlook and on iphone

I've been with Verizon since 10/11 and have noticed that email rarely appears simultaneously on my iPhone and in Outlook. Usually, its one device or the other. I never experience this when I was with AT&T. Wondering if there is a simple fix?

Hi rooster,

It's convenient to have both your phone and your computer notify you of your emails, especially while on the go. Here is a link with some information as to the reason that the Outlook messages only appear on your phone once they are read, and only appear on the computer once they are read. This will answer your questions and assist you in finding a way to store/download messages from the phone to the computer, and vice-versa. I'm sure you and other Outlook users will find it helpful.
