Can I cancel my data plan after contact is up? I like my iphone. It is my phone now.

contract is over. what happens if I turn off my plan after 2 years ? Brick or dumb phone?

As long as you keep a smartphone active on your line, then a data plan is required.

After your contract is up you're just on month to month. Your service is not shut off. As long as you have service you need a data plan contract or no.
