After charging to 100% looses charge when asleep in a few hour. Battery has been changed, SIMCard pulled and replaced. What next?
Is the same behavior present while in Airplane mode? Did you disable/uninstall all social media apps to ensure they are not the problem? How long have you owned the iPhone for?
We want to make sure that you are able to use the phone properly. Please try settings>general>about>version. What do you have? You mentions changing the battery. How was this done? we will help you.

At the suggestion of 6612 I activated air plane mode and it continued to lose power. I then removed all of the social networks and it continued to lose power as before.
Hi EdAL, was just reading your post. Do you happen to have a Setting > Battery in the iPhone 5c? I happen to have one but I'm on a iPhone 6s+ with iOS 9.2 so we may vary a little on what's in the Settings?
Anyway the setting shows Battery & Percentage that's being used for various apps. This seems to be very accurate in showing what percentage of the battery is being used by what app or function. Which may give you an indication of what is drawing and how much on the battery.
This link from Apple seems to indicate there was a problem with iPhone 5 batteries, and where they were offering some sort of replacement. I don't know if it pertains to your iPhone 5, but may be worth a look.
The phone is about 18 months old.

Truly appreciate you contribution.
I noticed that Facebook was taking a large share of the power.
I removed Facebook and it still lost power
When turned off.
I'll follow up on the potential of their relaxing the battery.
Thanks again. EdAL

Good point. The iPhone 5 and 5C have very similar battery designs, since the two phones are essentially identical away from the build material and an upgraded mobile radio in the 5C.
It does sound like the phone needs a software reset or a battery replacement from use.
