6PLUS - bluetooth/streaming music question?

My car is bluetooth compatible however for whatever reason I cant stream music from my iphone to my car speakers if my bluetooth is turned on.  If i turn bluetooth off then I can hear the music.

The same happens if Im in my car and bluetooth is turned on and I watch a video...ill see the video but there wont be any sound.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Did it ever work?

Are you on the latest iOS update 8.3?

Did you forget the Bluetooth connection on both the car and the iPhone and start over?

Did you reboot the iPhone?

Do you know if you can get updated firmware for your car from your dealer?
