Activated phone but still can't get it to work.

I have spent all day activating my iphone, set up an account, etc. and now it when I send a text or someone tries to text me it tells me "recipient has insufficient funds to receive message".  I have tried to call customer service only to be disconnected every time by your automated service. How in the world can I get some help with this?????

What service plan are you on?
Have to taken a look on your My Verizon account to see that the device is listed there?

When you call Customer Service, say the word "agent" repeatedly to get to a live person.
