Activation Problem

I received my iPhone 5 today but am having problems activating it. I get the Waiting for activation this may take some time on the home page but it has been there for over 2 hours. How long did it take everyone elses to activate? I tried a few times before I let it sit and a few times it said Activation not complete and contact if continues. thanks for any help

I had same issue, even called VZW. I simply had to reboot the phone and it was good to go.

i rebooted and same thing, keeps staying on waiting for activation

I'm still having the same issue. Have rebooted multiple times. Actually this is on the second phone. First one activated no problem, but have not been able to activate the second.

Oh my! I know what a bummer it is to have a new phone that will not activate. Let's get this fixed. What happens when the device attempts to activate? Are you receiving any error message? Was this device ordered or upgraded under a different mobile number? Let me know.
