Apple iPhone discount on iPad?

My father recently upgraded his iPhone to a 5C and I was curious (as the account holder) if I can take advantage of the iPad discount and add the extra service to our plan so that I can get internet access anywhere! I need to know if this is an option! I believe the addition of a tablet to my plan is only $10 correct?

Yes, correct.  You can add a tablet for $10 a month.  One time charge for adding a line is $40.
