What is causing the Iphone 6s to be at 87% battery and I record or play a game and it kills my phone or it goes down to 16%. My daughter and myself are having issues with the 6s since two updates ago? Any body else

Hjoy723, loosing battery life to soon can be very concerning. I know I love playing my favorite games and would not like my battery draining sooner than expected. I wanted to ask if when you are playing a game or recording, are all the applications closed in the background? Were there any recent updates on the application for the games updated?
