I'm having battery issues with my iPhone 5. Last Sunday I was watching the Steelers-Dolphins game on the NFL Sunday Ticket app on my iPhone 5 and during the game I got a message that popped up saying that I had 5% battery life remaining. My iPhone 5 was plugged into the wall the whole time so I'm not sure why this is happening. I went to a local Verizon store and told a representative there the problem I'm having. He looked puzzled and said that it could be a software issue. Can anyone help?
Are you using iOS7?
Are the charger and cable authentic Apple certified ones?
Was the device actually charging while it was plugged in?
