Broken screen!

so i'm having a problem here, i dropped my iphone 4s and the screen is cracked but it still works, i'm under a warrenty so i can have it replaced but can i do that over the website or do i have to call the company? would they have to replace the whole phone or just the screen? and how long would it take? Help! tired of broken glass hurting my thumb!

However the link above is for supplemental insurance you pay a premium for.

You cannot file a claim with verizon under the manufacturers replacement warranty for any glass breakage, water damage, loss or theft.

You must go through Asurion if you carry that insurance.
