CANT SEND OR RECEIVE TEXT MESSAGES

Not sure what happened but for some reason i cant send or receive any messages. able to make phone calls. tried restarting the phone, on and off airplane mode but still not working. anyone having the same issue?

I had problem a few years ago with a phone from Verizon. I was too patient and it destroyed part of my social connections. People think you are sketchy when you don’t acknowledge invitations via text but you don’t have any idea they texted. Technicians at Verizon eliminated my stored passwords to all accts like email when trying to figure out why text not working. When you have not had to put in passwords for years because phone got in automatically, you forget the passwords and now can’t reset them because you need to get a code by text to reset password. So I lost my email account entirely. Don’t put up to long with the problem like I did! My phone was a Sony and the worst purchase of all time!
