Can I activate an iPhone 4 CDMA?

I just ordered a refurbished iPhone 4 CDMA (Verizon) for my daughter who desperately wants an iPhone. Can you please verify that CDMA still works on Verizon so I can cancel before it ships if it doesn't work?

I'm buying it from Amazon so I'm not worried about it being stolen because I know they'll care for me in that regard. Just want to be sure CDMA still works since I know LTE is the replacement.

It will work. HOWEVER you need to make sure it is specifically FOR Verizon. If it isn't then it will not work to save yourself some time.
