Can I connect an unlocked iphone 5 with a verizon plan?
As long as it is a Verizon model, then yes. A pure GSM model won't work on the CDMA network used by Verizon Wireless.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
Only if have a Verizon branded phone.

That's the GSM model which would work on ATT, T-Mobile or any other GSM carrier in the USA or the world.

That phone will not work on the Verizon network. It is listed as a GSM model that may be usable on AT&T or T-Mobile (see below for the info/frequencies listed in the description).
I would be suspect of that website. The price seems to good to be true (my opinion). Also the only contact listed is a hotmail address, another red flag. Good luck
