Re: I was forced to do an update and it wiped out all my contacts and photos on my phone and I Cloud. Can I retrieve this information somewhere?

I'm sorry to hear you lost your information. Is the iCloud signed in with your apple id? Here's a great link with troublshooting steps for iCloud: http://bit.ly/1eeO1n1 Were they saved anywhere else? For example iTunes?
