***Announcement: Early next week, we’ll be merging the current Fios and Wireless Communities into the all new Verizon Community! Beginning the evening of Sunday 12/4, both Communities will be placed in read-only mode. You’ll still be able to visit the Communities and browse content, but login will be disabled. Are you upgrading to the iPhone 6 and asking if the sms messages that you have on your old iPhone will transfer over to your new one? If so, yes if you back up your device (either via iTunes or iCloud) and then use that back up to restore the new device.

That's a wonderful question! Messages that are not iMessages may require Verizon Messages to bring over from the 5s to the 6. Do you currently have Verizon Messages?
