Can iphone be turned into a prepay?

I currently have an iphone 7 and am going to be upgrading soon. Can I use my 7 as a prepaid phone for my daughter? I dont want to fully add another line because I dont feel she‘s quite ready for phone but she needs something soon. Thanks!

I'm sure your daughter is going to love getting a phone, Amreichert. You can activate the phone on Prepay if you would like; however, you can also add the line to your account, and use that phone. It may cost less since you already have a plan with us. The great thing is that we don't have contracts; therefore, if you feel you need to cancel it, there will not be a penalty to do so. You can also monitor it a lot closer, being on your account, if you need to.
