Can't connect to mifi

My MiFi 6420LE JETPACK connects flawlessly with my iPad Pro with ios10 but it only recognizes my iPhone 7 it try's to connect but can't . It drops it immediately. And the phone stays on LTE. Cant update the iOS cause I need a wifi connection and can't get one.

We will get your phone updated and fix your WiFi connection. What software does your phone have now? How long have you been having problems connecting with your WiFi? Have you forgotten the connection and tried again? Do you have a PC/Mac with iTunes installed? iOS Updates - Apple iPhone 7 / 7 Plus | Verizon Wireless If you do, please try the iTunes install.
